All Saints Kesgrave - The munchion

What happened at the Cooketition a couple of weeks ago? Well...

The task for each team was to create a course for a meal to be eaten afterwards. The catch?

They had to use every single ingredient, and not every one was helpful... the dessert team got a packet of Doritos that ended up covered in melted marshmallows. Lovely!

Each team got to work and had some great ideas. The main course team came up with a bacon, beans and cabbage dish whilst the dessert team constructed a chocolate cheesecake, covered pears in melted chocolate and microwaved their infamous Doritos.

With the possible exception of the Doritos, these were enjoyed by everyone there. Other events included a clip from the film ‘A Bug’s Life’ and a food quiz organised by Robin. It all went very well, and we thank Sarah and Robin for organising this great, tasty experience.
