Trip to Adrenaline AlleyAfter a recent trip to Corby Skate Park, we thought it would be a good idea to put an article in the fusion magazine.
We left from the Martlesham church at 9.00. Everyone was excited and there was a good atmosphere in the air. We arrived at Corby at 11.30. The park didn’t open till 12.00 so we sat around waiting. We got into the park at 12.00 and it was nothing like we had expected.
Once inside we all thought it would be all open but it was like a maze. There where passageways everywhere leading to different areas of the park. We all started by riding on the 7ft half pipe and realized it was totally different to riding on a concrete skate park. After about an hour we all felt computable with the riding surface and we all went our different ways. Some of us went and rode the bowls while others rode the street section. Unfortunately we didn’t ride the foam pit due to fact that it was busy and that it would take a couple of terns before we where used to the ramp.
During the day our cameraman tom got loads of good footage and on the way home we got a good time-lapse of the journey home. We all felt that the day was a huge success and we would like to do it again.
